‘Finding Magic’ Workshops

This is a workshop programme for anyone who would like to bring more sparkle into their lives. These are particularly suitable for people who have experienced loss in whatever form this might take (bereavement, end of relationship, job loss, friendships, self esteem, etc…).

The workshops include a combination of creative activities and discussion in a safe, supportive and friendly environment.

“This was a unique experience for us all and very quickly people felt at ease and were able to share some very deep and meaningful ideas of what magic meant to them as individuals, leading to further discussions in pairs and within the group. We look forward to having her involvement in the future.”  Ashley Lloyd, Time To Share Bereavement Services

“Her performing skills and alongside lived experience and workshop activities made it emotive and influential.” Psychiatric Nurse, Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust

Theatre Arts Students & Creative Practitioners

Bev offers a workshop called “An Exploration of Genre” which is an informative and interactive workshop exploring Issue-Based Theatre and Theatre of Empowerment. The workshop focuses on creating a framework for the development of this kind of theater, considerations to make, pitfalls to avoid, and the importance of audience engagement. The session will include live excerpts from the show performed by Beverley, creative activities, and discussion.

Bev also offers a lecture called “From Inception to Stage and Beyond” which covers her creative process, from the embryonic stages through to production. She covers areas such as visioning, scriptwriting, editing, the staging of the show, collaborating with her director and the rest of the production team, as well as creating versions of the show in different formats for various audiences.
